What to expect

The coastline stretches to the horizon on the wild and mysterious beach of Cofete. Meet the queen of Fuerteventura's beaches with us and let us take you on an unforgettable trip in small groups, to the most unspoiled and iconic place on the island.

Cofete Beach, called Hollywood Beach by many, has been the backdrop of many blockbusters, including Exodus, Star Wars, The Eternals, and many more.

We will start the trip following the gravel roads of the nature reserve, passing the peaks of the mountains and stopping at the panoramic viewpoints in Jandia Natural Park, where our local guide will tell you about the stories and legends associated with this amazing place. On the west coast, we'll arrive at Cofete beach where we'll have free time to immerse ourselves in the beauty and uniqueness of this place, walking along the endless, virgin beach, enjoying the charms of the landscape and taking a deep breath of sea air.

This tour is also a great opportunity to discover the secret of Gustav Winter's Villa, which, according to local stories, was owned by a German spy who supported nazis submarines during World War II. On the way back, we will stop at the port in Morro Jable, where we can often meet huge stingrays tempted by the local fishermen, who feed them.

Oasis Wildlife Fuerteventura Ticket

Oasis Wildlife is home to a huge variety of birds, reptiles and African animals, living as close to their natural habitat as possible. There's a successful breeding programme here and recent arrivals include giraffes, sea lions and hippos. Get up close to many of them at the sea lion, reptile and birds of prey shows. In between shows, you can come eye-to-eye with the giraffes on the viewing platform, laugh at the antics of the cheeky chimps, admire the elephants and take pictures of the meerkats, otters, zebras and hippos – the list is endless. There is also an optional 25-minute camel ride available, adding adventure and laughs along the way, aswell as a 20-minute educational lemur experience, learning all about these beautiful, endangered primates. Cofete 4x4 Safari Tour

The plunging volcanic landscape of Fuerteventura's mountainous interior goes far beyond its sun-soaked beaches. And there's no better way to navigate this rugged and somewhat unforgiving terrain is on this full-day 4x4 tour.You'll head straight for the island's central mountains. Heading off-road onto hairpin tracks, you'll bump around the lunar-like landscapes of the Roque de Moro, one of the island's highest volcanic peaks. Here, you'll get breathtaking views over the buffeted west coast before dropping down to Cofete. This mostly abandoned village is home to the mysterious Winter Villa – rumoured to have been a Nazi hideout after World War II.There'll be a photo stop on Cofete beach, and, if the weather's right, extra beach time on the east coast, before you make your way to El Puertito. Rolling beaches, desert-like plains and towering mountain peaks – Jandia is a slice of Fuerteventura at its rawest. And on this easygoing walking tour, you'll get to see the peninsula in all of its glory. The Natural Park of Jandia, Risco del Paso and Morro Jable are all on the agenda, as well as free time for swimming, taking in the views and exploring the dunes. You'll start in Jandia Natural Park. This huge reserve covers most of the island's southerly tip, encompassing mountains, rocky coasts, sand dunes and undeveloped wilderness – it's a haven for nature-lovers. Then, it's on to Sotavento, where crystal-clear waters lap up against the soft, golden stretch of sand. You'll enjoy some free time here to take a dip, walk along the beach or simply admire the view.Next up is Morro Jable. Even though this small, fishing village has had some tourist development over the years, it's managed to retain its traditional Canary charm.
